Friends of Washington Library
"Super Bowls" Silent Auction

Silent auction bidding on beautiful baskets
of items begins on Monday, January 22, and
goes through Saturday, February 10. Come to
the Main Library to place your bids!

Writing Workshop
Tuesday, January 23, 6:00pm
Writers of all experience levels are invited to
bring to the Main Library their latest projects
for feedback in a supportive environment. We
will open with writing exercises and games,
followed by a workshop-format discussion.

Registration for Your Secret Chef
Begins Thursday, January 25
Your Secret Chef Bill More returns to the Main
Library on Thursday, February 15, at 6:30pm
for "Cajun and Creole Cookin". Registration for
this deliciously festive cooking class begins

Genealogy Meetup
Friday, January 26, 2:30pm
Share your recent genealogical finds with
others! Get help using Ancestry Library
Edition and other library resources to explore
your family's history at the Main Library. Light

Teen Harry Potter Night
Friday, January 26, 5:00-8:00pm
Come to the Main Library to be sorted into
houses, seek out horcruxes, eat Harry Potter-
snacks, watch a Harry Potter movie,
and more! For teens in grades 6-12

"Cabin Fever"
Adult Winter Reading Program

January 29 through March 16
Pick up a reading log starting January 29 and
complete your choice of reading challenges
by March 16 to win a Chamber of Commerce
gift certificate or Kindle Fire.

Tuesday, January 30, 4:00pm
Kids, ages 5 and up, use library-supplied
Legos to build original creations that will be
displayed for one month!

STEAM Power Projects
at the Branch Library

Thursday, February 1, 4:00pm
Kids, ages 3 and up, can come to the branch
library on the first Thursday of each month for
a new STEAM (Science, Technology,
Engineering, Art, and Math) project. This month
make a bouncy ball!

Thursday, February 1, 6:00pm
Adults, register to make an assortment of
Valentines and other cards at the Main Library.
Supplies are provided.
