Fall Preschool Storytime
Registration Open
By sharing the fun and excitement of a
good story, the children are exposed to
a variety of library books and materials.
In addition to reading picture books,
storytime also features flannel board
stories, cut and tell stories, finger rhymes,
and puppets. Call or stop by the Main
Library Children's Area or Branch Library

3D Printing Demonstration
Tuesday, October 6, 6:30pm
Be fascinated as WCHS instructor
Robert Mitchell and several students
explain and demonstrate the basics
of "additive manufacturing" -
technologies that build 3D objects!

the WCHS Engineering Department's
3D printers!

Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope
Saturday, October 10, 1:00-3:00pm
This community event is being held at the
Main Library in conjunction with "Star Wars
Read Day"
from 9 to 12 at WCHS. The
Main Library will have popcorn and door

Tuesday, October 13, 6:00-7:30pm
Watch anime, eat ramen, draw, and meet
other fans at the Main Library! This event
is for teens in grades 6-12.

Friends of Washington Library
Tuesday, October 13, 6:30pm
The purpose of our Friends group is to
promote the Washington District Library,
stimulate public support and provide
volunteer services. With only 3 meetings
per year, it's fun to join FoWL! Pick up
a membership form at the library and
attend their next meeting on Tuesday,
October 13th, 6:30pm at the Main Library.

Brown-Bag-It Lunchtime Fun!

Bring your kids and lunches to the Main
Library for Wheels o' Time Museum!

Book Sale Donations
Now thru October 17th
Books, DVDs, and CDs in good condition
are being accepted at the Main Library for
the F.o.W.L. Fall Book Sale. Please no
textbooks, encyclopedias, or Reader's Digest.
Call Erin at the Main Library about magazine
donations. The book sale will take place
at the Main Library October 24-28, with a
F.o.W.L. member preview on Friday,
October 23rd. New members are always
welcome. Join the Friends of Washington
