program for children ages 3 - 12 held at
the library each summer.
Summer Reading Club 2012:
“Reading Is So Delicious!”
June 4 - July 21, 2012
Fill your summer with nummy activities, crafts,
fabulous shows, family entertainment, fun
educational programs, rewards, and prize
drawings - and feed your need to read!
Summer Reading Club t-shirts in kid and
adult sizes are available for purchase for
only $5.00 each!
Make-It-Take-It Crafts begin June 4!
REACH THESE MINIMUM READING
GOALS TO EARN ALL AWARDS!
(all grade levels denote the grade just completed)
Grades K & 1: 25 books (books may be read
to kindergartners)
Grades 2 & 3: 20 books
Grades 4, 5 & 6: 15 books
Preschoolers: (ages 3-5) 30 books read TO them
- Books over 70 pages count as 2 books read
- Up to 5 TumbleBooks or eBooks via our website can
count toward goal
EARN PRIZES!
(preschoolers are not eligible to enter drawings)
- Choose a treasure box prize for each 5 books
read (2 prizes per day)
- Enter weekly drawings by answering a weekly
question (check the bulletin board each week to see
if you're a winner)
- Final drawing prizes for kids who reach their
goal (July 20 is the final day to enter.)

the library's free Reader's Theater troupe!
This summer our hilarious foodie fractured
fairy tales are filled with characters eating
and being eaten! Rehearsals are mandatory
on Tuesdays & Thursdays, June 5 - 21,
10:00am -11:15am. We'll go on stage with two
performances: June 21 at 6:30pm and June 26
at 2:00pm. Sign up now! Space is limited.
