Paws Giving Independence
Thursday, July 10, 6:30pm
"PAWS Giving Independence" service/companion dogs will be visiting the Main Library to
explain how the dogs are trained to help people.

T.A.P.S No-Kill Shelter
Thursday, July 17, 3:00pm
Come to the Main Library to learn about our local no-kill shelter and how to adopt a pet!

LEGO Building Event
Thursday, July 31, 2:00pm (ages 8-12)
Pre-register by calling (444-2241) or coming into the Main Library. Use library Legos to build
your own creations. Finished designs will be put on display at the Main Library.

Night of Magic!
Thursday, August 7, 6:00-7:30pm
A group of talented performers presents a free evening of fun and wonder for all ages! Join us as
the library hosts them in the Five Points Banquet Rooms. Enjoy magic, comedy, puppets, and more!

Fractured Fairy Tales
Thursday, August 14, 6:30pm
The Main Library is proud to present our 9th season of Reader's Theater! Join us as our theater
troupe presents hilarious factured fairy tales.

Reader's Theater:

Love acting? Good at reading? Kids in grades 5-8 are invited to be a part of our 9th season of
Reader's Theater! Sign up to perform with the library's free theater troupe! NO memorizing lines.
Skits are performed like an old-time radio show, with minimal props, but public speaking and
theater skills are learned and friendships are made! This summer's production will feature
hilarious fractured fairy tales! The season begins when Summer Reading ends. Pre-register
to participate by July 11th.

There are six mandatory rehearsals: Tuesdays & Wednesdays, July 29 thru August 13, 10-11:15am

Performance Night: Thursday, August 14, 6:30pm. Cast party following performance.

Family Movie Nights:
First Thursday of the month at 6:30 pm - Main Library Meeting Room, snack provided!

  • June 5 - The Aristocats
  • July 3 - Homeward Bound
  • August 7 - No Movie
  • September 4 - Adventures of Milo & Otis

Red Cross Babysitting Training

There are no classes scheduled at the library at this time.

Participants must register online. Pre-registration and Red Cross fee are required.
