FoWL Fall Book Sale
October 20 thru noon on October 25
The Friends of Washington Library Fall
Book sale will be held Saturday, Oct. 20,
thru noon on Thursday, Oct. 25, at the Main
Library with a free FoWL member preview,
(or $5.00 at the door for non-members) on
Friday, Oct. 19, from 5-7:00pm.

Join us to watch Book Club (2018, PG-13).
Popcorn provided!

Wednesday Walks
October 24 & 31 at 11:00am
Let's get moving! We will meet at the
Main Library and set out for a walk on
the trail. In case of bad weather, we
will walk on the track at Five Points
Washington. Participants can set their
own pace and distance. Bottled water
will be provided. Wednesday Walks
will continue through November 7.

Monster Makeup with Michaela
Thursday, October 25, 5:00pm
Michaela will give monster makeup tricks
and tips at the Main Library, and
show you how to turn into a zombie with
realistic scars and wounds! Event is for
teens in grades 6-12.

Genealogy Meetup
Friday, October 26, 2:30pm
Share your recent genealogical finds with
others! Get help using Ancestry Library
Edition and other library resources to
explore your family's history at the Main
Library. Light refreshments provided.

Star Wars Read Day
Saturday, October 27
11:00am - 2:00pm

Intergalactic fun for all ages at the Main
Library! Enjoy robotics demonstrations,
Star Wars video games on the projection
screen, snacks, crafts, a live podcast
recording and other activities. Be sure
to check out the morning activities at
Washington Community High School.
They will have a live podcast recording
with Coffee with Kenobi, storytime, a
book sale and more! Wear your Star
Wars costumes to the high school for a
costume contest -- the winner will be
announced at the library in the afternoon.

Tuesday, October 30, 4:00pm
Kids, 5 and up, use library-supplied Legos
to build original creations at the Main
Library that will be displayed for one month!

Halloween Scary Movie
Tuesday, October 30, 6:00pm
Teens, in grades 6-12, celebrate Halloween
at the Main Library while watching A Quiet
! Halloween candy and other snacks
provided. Costumes encouraged.

Halloween Facepainting
at the Branch Library
Wednesday, October 31, 3:30 - 5:00pm
Bring your kids, ages 3 and up, to have
their face painted to match their costume!
Be in line by 4:30pm because it ends at
