audiobooks directly from Washington District
Library's web site through the
Alliance Digital Media Library (ADML).




All you need is 5 minutes a day and an email
address to join one of our FREE online book
clubs! Click on the image for more information

Red Cross Babysitting Class

Online registration is open for the
Red Cross Babysitting Class being
held at the Main Library on June 5
from 9:00am to 4:00pm. Register
at www.redcross.org by clicking on
"Take a Class" and following the
directions. Participants must bring a
sack lunch. Drinks will be provided.


"Have Books - Will Travel!"

Sign up for Summer Reading Club, for
preschoolers ages 3-5 & youth just
finishing grades K-6th, and Teen Summer
Reading, for teens in grades 6-12, at the
Main and Branch Library locations now!


Cherry Festival, May 29-June 1

Visit the library booth on Friday and
Saturday at the Washington Cherry
Festival for fun, games, and information
about Summer Reading!


Summer Movie Matinee

Get out of the heat and enjoy the first of
our Summer Movie Matinees showcasing
the works of writer/director Billy Wilder.
Join us at the Main Library on Monday,
June 3, at 1:00pm to watch Some Like It Hot
starring Marilyn Monroe, Tony Curtis, and
Jack Lemmon!


Family Movie Night

Come to the Main Library on Thursday,
June 6, at 6:30pm to watch Lady and
the Tramp
on our big screen!


WABoT

Teens, interested in helping to plan programs
for the library? Join Washington Advisory
Board of Teens (WABoT) and have your
opinion heard! The next meeting is on
Thursday, June 6, from 5:00-6:00pm.
